Am 29.09. sind wir in den Sudan, das Heimatland von Amunas Vater, geflogen. Nicht nur für Hannah, sondern auch für Amuna ist es das erste Mal. Die Leute hier sind so unglaublich herzlich und nett, dass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlen. Obwohl wir erst ein paar Tage hier sind kommt es uns schon vor wie eine kleine Ewigkeit. Auf unseren ersten Erkundungstouren durch die Hauptstadt Khartoum lernen wir eine komplett andere Lebensweise kennen. Die Sudanesen zeigen uns ihre Häuser und Werkstätten und stellen uns ihren Familienmitgliedern und Nachbarn vor.
Hier ist eine kleine Auswahl all der Eindrücke, die wir in so kurzer Zeit schon erlebt haben. Wir lieben den Sudan jetzt schon!
On September 29th we flew to Sudan which is the home country of of Amuna’s dad. It is not only Hannah’s but also Amuna’s first time to be here. We are happy to say that Sudanese people are incredibly kind and welcoming so that we are completely comfortable and feel at home immediately. It seems like we have been here for much longer than only a few days now. When we are first exploring Khartoum, Sudan’s capital, we are invited to see people’s houses and working places and to meet all their family members and neighbours.
This is a small selection of the overwhelming culture we are currently getting to know. We love Sudan already!
